Just when I was so SURE that winter was over....now we are under a freeze warning for tomorrow morning...Oy Vey! So much for all the new blossoms and young tender plants... some will die, some will only be stunted for a while.
It reminds me of how sometimes our walk with God can be...... There are those times when we get all fired up and there is nothing we won't do for our Lord. Then the "frost" comes and when we aren't prepared...parts of our commitment to Him become dried up and they die. The worse part is that all too often new growth fails to appear....
So, my thought today is this:
In what ways am I protecting the tender vegetation in my walk with Christ? And, should I suffer a "freeze", will I be looking for ways to allow "new growth"?
Just My Thoughts.....
