This morning I'm reading from Psalm 119.....verses 161-168 have caught my heart. In vs 161b David says, "My heart stand in awe of Your words." As I pause to ponder this verse, I can't help but wonder "when was the last I was in "awe" of God's words.?" So, here I am, making my list....
David goes on to say in verse165 that "Those who love Your law have great peace." Do you see that? GREAT peace...he did not say, just a little bit of peace, nor did he say that "maybe" we would feel some sort of peace... nope! He said G-R-E-A-T! Great Peace!!!
I'm going to stop right there and pose these two questions to all of us today......
1. In what ways has God's word caused me to stand in awe "today"?
2. How, in my life "today", am I experiencing God's GREAT Peace?
