A New Day...

It's Monday....the first day of December...the last month of 2008. We are on the brink of new leadership in our nation and with that, change is on the way....
But for now, it's Monday and here in "home town USA", life is busy and I've hit the floor running... Much to do.....cleaning and organizing my home is second on my list.....(first being time spent with God in quality prayer and study!).
I'm excited and can hardly wait until Christmas....why? you ask? Not for gifts or any of the common thoughts as such, but because my sons (and their families) are coming HOME!! Actually, they will be arriving the week after Christmas....on the last Monday of the year.... It's been nearly two years since they have been home and it's going to be a wonderful time!!
Making memories can be so much fun and I look forward to creating great ones for my grands that will be here......I'm known to them as "Grammy Texas".....go figure =-)
My prayer for this "homecoming" is first for their safety as they travel; for good weather (rain that keeps six adults, seven kids and five WET dogs indoors is not a happy situation!)
Now....I must get back to what I'm suppose to be doing!!!
